Joya is like your home, for you and for all students aged between 16 and 25. There are some requirements you need to meet to stay at Joya Students. You have to prove that you are a student under one of these conditions: • you take a full-time course in the city(ies) where we are situated • you attend an exchange program (e.g. Erasmus) at a University in the city where we are located • you take a full-time course at a Polytechnic or language school • you are doing an internship that is part of your university course You can book from the age of 16 at check-in, however, in this case your parents will have to be your responsible guardians in the contract. All our contracts are for 11 or 12 months.

10 minutes is all you need to get from your future home to the various faculties of the University of Coimbra! Yes, before your check-in we will create a WhatsApp group with the JOYA team and all the students who will share a house with you so you can get to know each other and exchange contacts. During the school year, this group should be used for any home-related communication.
